Fan Girl has it's premiere at the BAFTA-qualifying London Short Film Festival where it was nominated for BEST COMEDY and BEST DIRECTOR at London Short Film Festival. It went onto to screen at LOCO London Comedy Film Festival (nominated for the DISCOVERY AWARD), Flickers: Rhode Island International Film Festival (nominated for the Oscar-qualifying GRAND PRIZE for BEST SHORT) and will be screening at Encounters where it is nominated for the GRAND PRIX PRIZE of BEST SHORT.
FAN GIRL is pop-tastic comedy directed by Kate Herron and written by Screen International Stars & Broadcast Hotshots, Jessica & Henrietta Ashworth made in association with the Central School of Speech and Drama.
Fan Girl stars Steve Oram (Sightseers) with an original score by composer Patrick Jonsson (Bafta & Oscar-nominated Virunga). It's post-production was handled by award-winning production house UNIT.
